Welcome Back to the 2026–2027 Grade 6 I1 English Class!

Dear Parents,

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing summer break. I am excited to welcome your child back to school as they begin an important new chapter as Grade 6 students and final chapter in elementary school.

Over the past year, I have enjoyed watching the students grow in their English abilities, confidence, and independence. This year, we will continue building on those skills as students strengthen their listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities. Through engaging lessons, reading, vocabulary practice, grammar instruction, discussions, and projects, my goal is to help students become more confident and effective English learners.

As Grade 6 students, they will also take on more responsibility for their learning. I will encourage them to participate actively in class, challenge themselves, complete their assignments carefully, and develop the skills needed for future academic success.

Your support at home continues to play an important role in your child's progress. Regular review of vocabulary, reading practice, and encouragement to use English outside of the classroom can make a meaningful difference.

I believe that strong communication between school and home is essential. I will continue to share important updates regarding homework, quizzes, classroom activities, and special events throughout the year. For personal questions or discussions about your child's progress, please contact me through email so I can provide a more detailed response.
